The Most Productive Sleep

Hypnosis is a scientific state that can be measured by an EEG machine. However, without a machine to prove that a person is in a hypnotic state, there are some physical symptoms that often occur indicating a certain level of hypnotic trance. Everyone will experience a state of hypnosis in their own specific way because everyone is unique.

Just like the two minutes before falling asleep at night, while one is in a hypnotic state, being formally hypnotized has similar physical sensations. Hypnotized individuals can hear everything the hypnotherapist is saying, be in complete control, remember everything (unless it is suggested otherwise), and will be able to speak and move around. A hypnotic state can produce a feeling of heaviness or lightness in one’s body or extremities, tingling in hands or feet, general body relaxation, sensitive hearing, slowing down of breathing rate and pulse rate, change in body temperature, and swallowing. It is common for people to feel dissociated from parts of their body. Time can seem distorted when in hypnosis; some feel it goes by very quickly while others feel as though time slows down. Time distortion is common when hypnotically driving, such as feeling as though the trip went by quickly. All these are common signs that a person is experiencing a hypnotic state.

Since hypnosis is not dangerous and has no negative side effects, it is useful for everyone, regardless of their age. Hypnosis is also useful for just about any symptom. It can be used as an alternative medicine or a preventative one.
